Academic
I graduated from Bowdoin College in 2005 where I majored in Computer Science and minored in Economics. My research interests are machine learning in robotics and scalable algorithms on large data-sets. In 2006 I presented my paper and code on Raster-to-TIN simplification in Lausanne, Switzerland at the FOSS4G conference. The code is available in the r.refine module written for the open source package GRASS GIS and is currently being ported for version 6.3.
